The creation of a light, spacious family home was the main brief for this quirky house in Richmond, South West London. Formerly owned by a film set designer, a complete renovation of this house was required in order to create an open-plan living/dining/area which had the flexibility of being a family space or an intimate place to relax. Light was brought flooding into the house with the addition of a large feature window box, which allowed proper views of the stunning, mature garden, plus two substantial sky lights and large floor to ceiling sliding doors.
