With a portfolio of hundreds of projects across London and the South East, there’s not much PAD hasn’t done when it comes to home extensions, renovations and new builds. But there’s a first time for everything and this year PAD are excited to announce that we’re working with a client on a garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show: https://prolandscapermagazine.com/rhs-chelsea-2019-diaries-dan-riddleston-part-one/
Putney based PAD Architects are delighted to be working with the award winning garden design and build company Bowles & Wyer https://www.bowleswyer.co.uk/
The team have been assembled to realise the vision of garden designer Helen Elks-Smith, who is building her first Main Avenue garden for Warner Edwards Distillery. Completing the team is a structural engineer and a water expert to ensure Helen’s vision is a blooming success.
As our client says: “The design is stunning, but my thoughts immediately turned to the complicated structures and techniques that we will need to create it, not least the amount of steel work that will be required to hold the cantilevered roofs that need to be completely hidden behind the drystone walls.”
Want to see how the PAD team has achieved this? Treat yourself to a day at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this May and see it in the flesh! https://www.rhs.org.uk/shows-events/rhs-chelsea-flower-show
(don’t worry if you can’t get to the show, we’ll be sure to post some photos and videos here)
