London family needs PAD’s services again
Everyone knows a recommendation says a lot about you, your business and your work. When someone gets in touch with a project idea and says ‘I’d love you to improve my home, so-and-so recommended your services’ you get a real sense of satisfaction and confirmation that your services have been recommended and talked about.
Just as exciting is when an old client gets back in touch with a new project or new home for themselves. Or in our case, a new project within their existing home!
Our lovely clients in Streatham met whilst living separate lives in this Victorian terraced property in South London; one was living in the top floor flat, one in the ground floor flat! Love blossomed across floors and they set up home together in the ground floor flat, renting out the top floor and engaging PAD to renovate this ground floor home in 2014 with a side and rear extension.

The finished ground floor flat in 2015
A lot can change in three years and since the completion of the project, the South London family has grown and were in need of acquiring more space. But they didn’t want to move. As fortune has it, they managed to purchase the first floor flat which was sandwiched between their ground floor and top floor flat, meaning they now owned the entire beautiful Victorian building and could turn the flats back into one large home, restoring the building to its former glory as a stunning South London home.
Unsurprisingly they were very excited about this new project and quick to engage PAD to work with them once again. We have extended the existing kitchen / living area into a dramatic double height, light filled space to create the perfect entertaining area, and added a first floor side extension (on top of the original ground floor extension) to offer more bedroom and bathroom space, along with general improvements and refurbishments to create the perfect contemporary, light and bright, desirable yet practical, London family home.
With plans and ideas fully formed, we’re hoping they’ll be on site by Autumn and living across all three floors in the home of their dreams by early 2018…
